AFRICANGLOBE – A former substitute teacher in Louisiana who pleaded guilty to having sex with three boys will be spared jail time, thanks to a plea deal. Heidi M. Verrett, 34, pleaded guilty to three misdemeanor counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile after her arrest on charges of having sex with three boys.

AFRICANGLOBE – A former school bus driver who admitted to raping a 14-year-old girl will not spend any time behind bars. 26-year-old Shane Piche was sentenced to probation after pleading guilty to third-degree rape. He will also be registered as a Level 1 sex offender, which is considered low risk of re-committing the crime and is not included in online sex offender databases.
