Sorry in advance for another long post! But please read on!! You may have noticed from my past posts that our craft cherubs focuses more on the process then the outcome. I believe this is important not only involving craft but in all experiences that each child learns through play and open-ended activities. It allows them the chance to explore the world around them, ask questions, and see how things work. It also allows them room to be themselves, make their own decisions, and just create! Whilst developing fine and gross motor skills, sensory exploration and building self confidence, creativity and self-expression. For example our bubble painting we have been engaging in, lots of splashing to create the bubbles, amazement when the colours were added to change the colour of the water more fun splashing, watching the paper change colour when placed in the water or when putting the bubbles on the paper. Then with a little tweaking from myself we created some adorable mermaids to coincided with our ocean theme. #teachersdownunder #toddler #toddleractivities #earlylearning #invitationtoplay #earlychildhood #craftbabies #babies #openended #playmatters #playbased #playtime #sensory #sensoryplay #finemotor #eylf #aussieteacher #aussieteachers #busytoddler #wherelearningmeetsplay #childcare #letthembelittle #childcare #childsplay #baby #aussiemums #aussiekids #teachersfollowteachers #teachertribe
