Photos from the Where's The TARDIS Grand Prize Screening of Doctor Who in Madison, WI

Congratulations again to the Bull Family of Madison, WI who won the grand prize in the Where's The TARDIS contest -- a special premiere screening of Doctor Who "Let's Kill Hitler" in their hometown plus all 47 years of Doctor Who on DVD! Their screening was held at noon Central Time Saturday, August 27th timed to coincide with the global premiere of Doctor Who.

Over 100 fans, family and friends showed up for the screening including multiple Doctors, TARDISes, and even an Idris! The Bull Family won with their Ice Shanty TARDIS built for ice fishing during the cold Wisconsin winters. With so many DVDs to watch, perhaps they'll spend little more time this winter staying warm indoors.

As we get ready to announce the winner of the Where's The TARDIS contest, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who took part, whether you planned, crafted, and built your own TARDIS or browsed the entries and voted for your favorites.

The number of entries have been awesome and the variety of entries even more so.  From TARDIS balloons and a TARDIS guitar to TARDIS kites and TARDIS desserts, Doctor Who has some of the most passionate and imaginative fans in the world.

We will be announcing the grand prize winner tonight during the BBC America premiere of the Doctor Who mid-season finale ‘A Good Man Goes To War’. Be sure to watch Saturday night to find out!
