Where Things Come Back
What happened to Gabriel Witter?
Great book...even better when I got it straight from the publishing company! Book 34 done...I'm getting there! #50in52 #WhereThingsComeBack
Booklet
Upon reading a book, I’ve decided to keep a booklet. My booklet will be a small notebook and consist of things normal people, including myself, would glaze over and forget. However, I intend to start writing them in my booklet.
A character in Where Things Come Back, named Cullen, fills his with titles of books he’ll never write, or conversations he doesn’t want to forget. Cullen’s brother, Gabriel, fills his with lyrics of songs that play in his head. Another character, named Benton, fills his with short phrases that describe his day or memories he doesn’t want to forget.
I think this will be interesting to read when I get older. I also think it’ll be interesting to jot down conversations I have with my future students. I honestly really love this idea that John Corey Whaley presents, and I also love how many of the characters participate in the same activity seperately. I think I’ll start tomorrow.
"I can't seem to be a pessimist long enough to overlook the possibility of things being overwhelmingly good."
