Hey, I really like your blog, thanks for taking your time & doing this :) A friend of mine & I are going to spend New Year's Eve in London (we're from Germany). Do you have a tip where to spend the evening & especially where to go to have a good look at the fireworks? Thank you xx

Thank you very much! It’s a pleasure. Whenever I have spent NYE in London, I have spent the evening in a fancy restaurant, walked around Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square for a while enjoying the atmosphere and then heading to Embankment for the fireworks. Get there early to get a good view! Bring champagne and finger food to ring in the New Year in style.

You could also book a NYE special on one of the many riverboats. They usually get as near to the fireworks as possible but check before booking. The Royal Festival Hall always have a good party and their roof terrace is pretty spectacular to see the fireworks from. Take your pick and have a good one! Xo

I've just read the ask about Smaland & the TV show is also known in Germany and very popular, every kid grows up with that. But the character is called "Michel". So I had no idea that "Michel aus Lönneberga" was the inspiration for their rubric :D :D Now I like it even more :)
