Morning kayaking with my daughter on American Lake. I love kayaking American Lake because it's so big it never gets old. If you launch from the Lakewood end remember you have to have a parking pass that comes with a fishing licennse or you need a Discover Pass. I like the Discover Pass because it covers all the parks and places you launch from.We launched from the park by the Veterans Hospital, and you don't need a pass there, but if you park in the launch parking you have to pay.
