Giving all the animals extra water and some frozen treats today ☀️

#they have a lot of shade to hide under #but even so it’s still so hot #have the hens a bowl of chilled water with ice and some fruits to entice them to drink it #and put it under the bushes where they’re hiding #although they turned their beaks up at it #misted the shadiest part of the tortoise enclosure where one of them was and gave him some partially frozen blueberries #which he loved #and filled up their pool #and when the ice cubes have frozen again I’m going to put them in a bow with some cat treat paste stuff to encourage them to lick the ice #hope it works!#ill have to find the other tortoise later #although I know he’s just hidden deeply into some undergrowth #which makes sense
