ohhh boy anon. I’ve had the idea of attic wifing black sapphire for quite a while. Where Black Sapphire basically becomes the only cookie Silverbell can ever be vulnerable with but Silverbell can’t help but feel extreme guilt at the failure of his loyalty by talking to a cookie of deceit. So how do we get rid of this guilt?
Well, Silverbell could always just, do his job. Take Black Sapphire away from deceit and have him as his own. Black Sapphire was the one saying he should become more selfish after all, he said that he would always be there for him, this is the obvious solution to all of Silverbells problems! Such solution of course is creating a scenario where he can fully trust Black Sapphire and thus fully trust himself. Hence, cue in the attic wifing.
I haven’t properly figured out on why black sapphire would be doing this however. I think, similar to Silverbell he also likes being relied on (mandatory smilk mention here, I think you get it). There is genuine care for Silverbell in encouraging to open up, it’s just that he means open up to only him. Because if Silverbell finds some else, he’ll probably leave and he’s forced to return to his desperate struggle for affection in the spire (I hc the deceit trio as having a neglectful kind of dynamic where the deceitlings are constant trying chase a sense of unreachable love).
But he would be horrified when Silverbell captures him. Only to realise, ah this is what he’s done to himself. This is the truth finally emerging out of there sweet delusions that what they have is fine. Anyway, that’s the basic gist of it. I don’t have any plans to write it anytime soon unfortunately, it’s not on my project timeline but I hope you enjoyed the concept! This is a possible relationship they’d have if left to fester by themselves with no interference.
