Sneaky the princess certainly was, but around someone like Raguna who more than often found himself focused on work, it was an excess. His focus wouldn’t be on approaching soft steps but the weeds he was pulling. It had been a few days since he’d gone through the fields; blame for that could be placed on tending to some of the animals that had gotten ill from eating gods know what while they were grazing.

Hildr’s arms find their way around Raguna’s middle as he stands back to full height to survey for anything else of note. A shading hand immediately jerks upward from the contact and surprise, his eyes widening.

“Wha--huh? Who’s--? Whoa!” Raguna fights to keep himself from stumbling a step. Surprise nearly had him overcorrecting to the weight at his back, instead attempting to turn and see who it was. For now, the answer shocks him, that much evident on his features. “Miss Thea? Uh- ...hi. Can I help you? What are you doing here?” To some credit, he’s not trying to shake her off if she decides to cling on.

Thoughts on the character:

Ah you have so many OCs out and about now. And I love them all! The ones I’ve interacted with and seen have all been fantastic and varied. From Fannar to Hildr and Aveline, very different voices and very different perspectives with matching priorities. We love to see it. I look forward to more crossed interactions with our muses. Throw more at Raguna and Wylan, I’ll find a way to throw more at you!

Have you interacted before:

At this point I think we’ve written more with your OCs than we have with your Link! Which is interesting, seeing as that was the blog I met you on. I still love your link but man if it isn’t fun interacting and doing asks with your original verse. Melding my muses into it has been great.

Favorite part of portrayal:

You expect me to pick?! Like, with Hildr it would have to be how she puts so much casual effort into blending in and handles things so naturally. The girl has a fantastic facade of ‘handling it’ despite all that happens. It’s the kind of thing Raguna respects while also driving Eira up the wall heheheh.

One piece of advice:

I have no advice. You’re laid back and taking things at your pace. It’s why I’ll follow you no matter how far you go or how long you take breaks for. Ask Amber, when I heard you were coming back I hecking celebrated.

A verse (mine or theirs) I want a thread in:

More! Aurunia! OC verses will always trump canon verses. And you give me all the scratching I need for fantasy.

Thoughts on the mun:

I don’t message you nearly as much as I should for as much fun as I have with our threads, but beating a dead horse I’m bad with small talk! And our interactions happen so naturally it’s not like I need to drop in to ask questions ahaha. But we should plot out more stuff!!! One of your muses needs to meet Amber (my oc, not our friend) for example. And I can find places for my other characters to fit in, surely. When will Eira get to meet Fannar and get in a fight with him?

These questions need answering... also just chatting in general since you’re a fun and cool person. I hope those pumpkins and your garden are doing well. 💪

Why would he say something crazy? He’s on the job? Honest work delivering pizzas. But of course, the appreciation from clients is appreciated. Whether it’s from a princess, a best buddy, or.... Sirin.

“Is everything going... did you say, uh, farmingly?” That seems to be the case, the woman is smiling rather confidently at her statement. Or perhaps she’s being smug. Either way, for a moment, Raguna doesn’t have a reply. Maybe he’s trying to think of a comeback. He doesn’t find it. Unfortunate.

“I would think so. It’s better farmingly than, er, swampingly? Or desertly... everything here seems to be going quite... gardeningly by that measure.” There’s an attempt at a smile, a seeking one- is he being funny? Is this good?

“Oh! A unicorn!” Hildr wasn’t kidding. That definitely wasn’t something anyone normally encountered when walking through the forest. It walks in near silence, its flowing mane iridescent in the setting sun and horn gleaming. It’d yet to notice them for better or worse. Raguna puts a hand in front of Hildr, stopping her approach and keeping her from taking any more steps as they observe from the small beaten path.

“Wait, be careful. They’re definitely not aggressive animals, but you never want to approach them first. They’ll almost always run, but if you’re unlucky enough I’ve read it can anger the forest itself. They have magic powers that are strange even to me. This is a good sign, this one looks very happy and healthy. Wow. But it really is beautiful isn’t it?”
