I was just curious about the new post set-up so I stole these questions from a tag done by whiletheflies to give it a look. Also, I got a new keyboard and I like the clickety-clack. NGL.

latest movie watched & opinions - the last proper movie I saw in a theater was Hard Day's Night. It was a digital re-release on its anniversary, I think. As always, it was gear-fab. 

latest thing googled (hahaha) - Tweetdeck (to add it to my new computer) hahaha

last youtube video watched - the January Pretentious Monthly Scrapbook by jackhoward. It's really, really good. 

what you’re looking forward to for 2015 - visiting England in August to see my friend Hayley, and maybe whiletheflies, and to see danieldobbs perform, and meet and thank slomozovo.

favourite book of all time - a Buddhist book called Liberation in the Palm of your Hand.

A Music Tag?! OH JESUS WHAT DO I DO?

I'm a writer and I use words. There's a tl;dr at the bottom. 

My friend whiletheflies tagged me in that iPod shuffle tag... I'm happy to play along but have to confess that I don't have an iPod! Or iTunes. Or any music on my phone. I only recently went looking for the best way to download and store music in the Cloud (I say that like I even know what that means.) All my music is presently trapped on my old glitchy laptop; at some point I'll try to rescue it but for now I rely on YouTube, Pandora, and Bandcamp. Since I've nothing to shuffle, I'll just point out three songs that are currently my jams. Not new jams, per se. Just jams. Maybe you'll like them too? 

Interpol. Rest My Chemistry. Pretty happy to learn we'll be getting new music from Interpol this autumn but everything of theirs is automatically classic in my opinion.

danieldobbs. Growth. Daniel's the reason I'm trying to figure out the whole Cloud thing. Because I want his music in the car, at work, around the house, out on a walk, all of the places. Pretty sure he's 92% of the reason Consent by jackhoward and thedeandobbs is awesome, btw. Also, cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Dobbs for raising charming and talented lads. 

Fox Academy. I'm Sorry About Yesterday. This is christiannovelli's band. Every once in a while I'll just all of a sudden want to hear this song. Also, I'd like to tilt up Christian's head and look him in the eyes just once. There's a strange world inside his head that you want access to once you've learned of it. Until he starts his cult, we'll have to be satisfied with his videos and music, I guess. 

Honorable mention...

Broughton (itsamemyleo and friends). Do Not Invite Yuuyi. This is improv so it's not quite polished but it's pulled together enough to get stuck in my head so I can hum it in corporate elevators. Because if there's anywhere that needs spontaneous improv'd music, it's anywhere corporate. In the spirit of full disclosure, I'm forever in support of whatever Myles does creatively because what he makes gives me things to think about and inspires my own creativity. So thanks, young man. Don't ever stop creating. 

tl;dr - I don't own an iPod.

HELLO I've been meaning to tell you this for ages but I felt super awkward, I know that your Buttons has a bit of a Tim Roth vibe but I was listening to Gabriel Bruce and just wanted to tell you I see a bit of Buttons in him too! (hehehhhaha argh I hope this doesn't offend you or anything, GB's a babe.)

*has no idea who that is* *googles it*Hmmm I see what you mean and he does have similar features! He's in this uncanny valley for me where I can't decide if I like his appearance or not because on one part he looks a lot like Buttons but on the other he reminds me of my ex with his longer hair. :I (Except he wasn't a babe lol.)
