1. Where is the one place in the world, you haven’t gone yet wish to?

impossible to choose. seriously. it's a tie between france/norway/chile/new zealand/spain and a million others. my sincerest wish (besides publishing) is to travel the world.

2. If you were on an epic quest/journey (ala LOTR) what are two things/people you would take with you?

i'm going to cheat and pick two people and two things. i'm evil. i'd take my boyfriend, because a) i love him and b) he's becoming a mountain guide so he'd be useful. the other person i'd take is my cat, because what is an epic quest without an adorable cat named gatsby? the two things i'd take are a bow and arrow (cause why not?) and a badass cloak? choosing things for a quest is hard. maybe i'd bring food.

3. What is the first book you remember reading?

being read to: the hobbit. reading myself: the most vivid memory is my first 'big book' which was called 'the town that floated away.' also harry potter has a very special place in my heart. i started it when i was about 8. 

4. If there was one thing about the world you could change what would it be?

this is a tough one. i'd like to remove greed and add a desire for community in society. i'd like to make preserving the environment the #1 priority of everyone in the world. i'd like for food production to be more equal and efficient and less wasteful. i'd like for governments to be held accountable and have less power over their citizens. i'd love for everyone to read. 

5. What's your favourite song?

probably 'to build a home' by the cinematic orchestra or 'metamorphosis' by philip glass. but another tough one, i love a lot of songs.

6. What is your dream career?

WRITER. seriously. for my entire life i've wanted to be a writer. rich, poor, doesn't matter. i would be happy to just have published something and be able to call myself a 'writer.' i'm hopefully on that path, as i am currently writing!

7. What is your favourite colour? 

on me: gray. seriously, all of my clothes are gray. but i also like purple. how regal of me.

8. Chocolate or cheese?

i'm very much a chocolate person, and much less a cheese person. it's the reverse for my boyfriend.

9. Why are you on tumblr?

it's fun and i can follow authors and other writers and lotr fangirls. what more could i ask for? also i've communicated with some authors and that's a life changing experience if you ask me! 

10. If there was only one book you could read/movie you could watch for the rest of your life, what would it be?

it's a tie between the HP series/LOTR/a short history of nearly everything by bill bryson, as far as books are concerned. and for movies? the LOTR films and the princess bride/sixteen candles. all tied. 

11. If you had/have a spirit animal what would it be/is it?

i'd like to say something badass like a hawk or something, but it's probably a cat. they are pampered. and they sleep a lot. horses are cool too.
