A little throwback to a piece from last year. Doing her armor had worn me out and I didn’t even get the shoes done yet. 😩 I hope to find time and finish this piece one of these days. Hello everyone! Oh my goodness! Just 8 more days of inktober to get through. We can do this!! 💪🏻✨ Today’s prompt is “juicy.” I thought this prompt is perfect for the Japanese folklore yōkai, jorōgumo!! If you don’t know, a jorōgumo or a “woman spider.” There a several variations of this Japanese folklore of the jorōgumo. In one variation, when a demonic spider turns 400 years old it can turn into a young beautiful geisha who seduces men to become her meal. If you couldn’t tell, I had so much fun with this piece. 😁 Keep drawing everyone! 💪🏻✨ P.S. if you see this Sean, I hope you enjoyed it.
Hello everyone! How are you doing? I had a bit of a late start on today’s inktober piece. I couldn’t gather any ideas for today’s prompt “ship.” I knew I kinda wanted to do something inspired by the Treasure Planet movie. Also inspired by RossDraws space mermaids. I thought that was a neat take on a classic mermaid but in space. In the end, I had decided to wing it and see what happens. To my surprise, I love what had been created before me. Day one is completed!! I am doing the official inktober prompt, so today’s prompt is “swift.” An albino raven swifts in to pick up its owner, the tiniest witch. I hope you enjoyed this illustration. How did your inktober go?
Day 2 of inktober!! Today’s prompt is “divided.” I created this character who is born with both gender assets which was too much for their body to handle alone causing their face to split apart. They use their witchy magic to create a mask to hide their split face. But also allowing them to become whoever they want to become and use this to do their bidding on the world. What do you guys think? This was a lot of fun to create. Be sure to have fun while creating these inktober pieces. I am also counting this one as part of my monthly color palette challenge too.
