I was a flute major in college, and I went to a school that doesn’t have woodwinds in their marching band. Which was fine for me since I had no desire to actually BE in the marching band, but it still made me burst with pride when my alma mater’s flute studio and alumni took the field with the band in 2019 to play the famous piccolo part in Stars and Stripes Forever. I went to the preview of the show on game day, wishing I had a shirt that said “just here for the piccolos” to distinguish myself from the sea of football fans. No one does black and white like @shopfreckledfawn, and the Freckled Fawn December kit is no exception! When I saw this awesome mix of patterned papers, I decided to pair them with this cool chevron cut file I bought from my friend @whimsyfox’s NEW shop @whimsyfoxcrafts. It’s a cut and stitch cut file, but if you’re lazy like me, the stitching holes also look good bare! I backed the layout with black cardstock to make the dots pop.
