⋆｡°✩ Whimsical Weekly Wednesday Waffling - Welcome to my DR: Bridgerton Edition ✩°｡⋆
❀ My name is Amalia Westcliff. I’m 21, born in 1792.
❀ I was born in Italy due to my family moving away from the Ton after rumours surrounding the legitimacy of my older siblings. My father’s brother ended up taking the title and family estates.
❀ However, in 1813, he ends up passing away, giving title of Duke of Avon and Stormview estate back to my father. Therefore my family must move back to London.
❀ My family consists of my father (Richard, 60), my mother (Marylin, 56), my brothers (Lawrence, 34; Leslie, 32; Elias, 28 and Gerald, 25) and my sister (Margot, 30).
❀ I am the youngest of all my siblings and am expected to get married as my sister risks becoming a spinster.
❀ My brother, Lawrence, despite the controversies surrounding it, taught me to read and write.
❀ My siblings are all quite protective of me.
❀ Life in Mayfair is how you would expect it to be; tense and gossip filled.
❀ I am a frequent topic in Lady Whistledown’s column, catching the attention of most of the ton.
❀ Especially the Bridgertons’
❀ I end up befriending Eloise and Benedict after my debut, where they accidentally hear me talking improperly to my brother, Lawrence.
❀ My debut is eventful to say the least.
❀ Already with all eyes on my scandalised family, I am being observed and therefore must uphold the Westcliff name.
❀ However, before my debut, in the gardens of the queen’s palace, a man approaches me and we strike up conversation. I soon learn his name is Anthony Bridgerton.
❀ No soon after does my eldest brother drag me away, forbidding me from so much as entertaining the thought of looking at him.
❀ Anthony and I take to having a torrid and secret relationship, mostly due to our difference in age and the fact that my brother has forbidden me from going near him and therefore his family.
❀ We catch Whistledown’s attention frequently, even risking ruin at some point.
❀ There’s some drama (lol, I haven’t scripted this bit, I’ll let you know once I’ve gone through it) and Anthony and I end up parting ways.
❀ However, one night Anthony begs for my forgiveness and we reunite, this time courting properly.
❀ We eventually end up getting married.
First time doing this, kind of nervous. I hope this was okay, please let me know how I can improve.
