Nick wants to give a little time to reflect on the sad passing of one of the most beautiful men to have come from Melbourne. Ollie Olsen, he died on the 16th of October, but news was only released today. He was one of the most influential stars of Melbourne at the time, even though everyone forgets about him. His genius and skills were what inspired other amazing artists like Rowland S. Howard, Nick Cave and Micheal Hutchence. Without Ollie we wouldn’t have Nick cave. He inspired the song ‘Nick the stripper’ and he was the apart of the young charlatans, which was the band that Rowly wrote ‘shivers’ for. Maybe his sad passing might Inspire more people to listen to his music. He was a beautiful man, a hidden gem really. And I hope you all maybe listen to some of his music. He was part of the bands: ‘whirlywirld’ ‘maxQ’ ‘orchestra of skin and bone’ and many more. May the beautiful ollie Olsen join rowland and Anita once more, wherever they all may be.
Please do listen to his music. In honor of him and his genius. And feel free to send any asks about him, music by him, pictures, or if you want me to tell you something about him (there’s not many facts, it has to be said, but I’ll try) or any story’s whatever helps to spread his legacy. Rest In Peace my dear Ollie. I will forever treasure you and your brilliance 💙💙
Reblogs are greatly appreciated, I would really like to spread the love and and condolences for ollie 💙 thank you 💙💙
