everytime I try to run any of the a10-12 fights as a healer, i always get a co-healer who just, refuses to leave cleric stance even for big aoe damage. and decent healer or not, it's really hard to solo heal the creator stuff when it's a pug and everyone is standing in things. and every time I ask them to help with heals, I just get a 'lol no this is easy content'. I can't figure out if this is a common train of thought of if i'm just super unlucky. T.T
Many healers follow the rule of “first one in cleric stance is not it” then freely cause wipes when their co-healer silently makes their bullshit known by not healing and DPSing themselves. Of course the first thing everyone will do is shit on the healer who stoppe dhealing and keep shitting on them rather than calling out the healer that wasn’t healing at all.
I don’t consider healers who DPS to be bad healers.
I do consider healers who exclusively DPS to be bad. And by exclusively I mean not even be willing to help out when shit hits the fan.
Many things can cause a sudden tank in the party’s survival. A lot of the times it’s actually DPS accidentally side stepping into the danger zone. A DPS or Tank dying due to failed mechanics can cause a wipe due to one healer not actually helping because the main healer has to stop healing to raise the dead member. I truly do not understand why healers do this. They’re probably just DPS who want to skip the DF queue. And they need to stop.
