After the release of QUARTER BAG, a good friend and power drummer Bobby Krimminger was the next in line to sit behind the skins. In early 2013, WHC began preparing to record their most ambitious project yet, “From Out Of Nowhere” (2014).
In December of 2013, Bobby unexpectedly passed away, and the band went on a brief hiatus to regroup and set a course for the upcoming year. Having finished recording all of the drum tracks, the new album was still set to be released, featuring the very last recordings of Bobby Krimminger.

In the summer of 2008, founding members Dale Sheffield and Terry Harwood started a small studio collaboration that would eventually become Whiskey HellChild. The product of late night songwriting and sheer determination led to a collection of demos that soon blossomed into a full-length album, PRIMER. Dale and Terry realized that the material needed to be performed live and decided to form a band. Recruiting Mike Musselwhite on bass kick-started the process to find a suitable drummer. Enter Mike Kaloudis, a rookie with a ton of talent. Soon the guys began booking shows in the NC/SC area, with many more to come...

THE STRANGER (D. Sheffield/T.Harwood)
I've seen the road behind that leads me home
Some place I went to hide but now it's gone
I walked a million miles to break your heart
But these memories, they tear me apart
And it's been so long since you ripped my soul into
And it's been too long now
I'm comin' back to you
Seasons change and so do I
There's never time for a last goodbye
Lovers come and lovers go
We're all just players in a TV show
I know my love it don't live here anymore
And i'll always be, and i'll always be the stranger
I walked the line and now my journey is done
A tragic comic with an empty gun
I'd kill myself just to see you smile
But your broken promises make it seem worthwhile

Whiskey HellChild has to be one of the most underated and unknown bands in this gengre. For fans of southern hard rock & metal, WHC influences are: Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, KISS, Quiet Riot, WASP, Corrosion Of Conformity, Clutch, Candlemass, ZZ Top and many many more...
I myself have been searching for physical copies of their releases for years, no luck so far. Thou, you can listen or purchase their music digitally through their bandcamp page.
