When You Can't Love Everything

There are several things I love about my neighborhood, including, but not limited to:

Vinnie's Pizza

Grand Ferry Park (especially at sunset)

Peter Pan Bakery

Whiskey Brooklyn

While there are several other things I love and am constantly discovering I love about Williamsburg, there are definitely some things I could do without. Such as:

Constantly being stared at in my hot pink and/or red pea coat (color does not mean I'm not still warm)

Being told by people on the street that I clearly don't live here and must be lost

The influx of homeless people/beggars on Bedford

Luckily the likes outweigh the dislikes, and hopefully one day Williamsburg will just be known as a great place to live and hang out, without the stereotype of needing to be a) a "hipster" b) dressed in mostly black or c) wearing plaid whenever not wearing black.
