Going through your HCs, I can't help but think one way Sky might fall for someone is the following scenario: Sky being his less-assuming self in public. Reader being suspicious of this for reasons. Reader acting all casual with company. First chance they're alone, reader goes, "I know what a total dom you are. No one else can see it, BUT YOU AINT FOOLIN ME!" And this done dorkily, so Sky swoons all like, "You get me *-*" Sky proceeds to court the increasingly suspicious reader. Am I close??

Oh man, if Sky met somebody who could actually sense his inherent Dom Energy, they would have his attention immediately. It’s so hard for him to be taken seriously unless he’s actively trying to Assert Authority–which usually works ‘cause of the surprise factor and re:Dom Energy, but Casual Everyday Sky tends to evoke more, “Aw, you’re so sweet!” and “You’re so positive and nice all the time, it’s really cute~”

Which is……….fine. >.>

But for him to get something like, “You are the most dominant motherfucker in this room, you can’t hide it, we’re basically strangers but I can tell,” Sky’s gonna have one hell of a:

Not to be super cheesy, but iz late at night and I think the heat has drained me, so: I like to imagine that after earning Mal's trust for more close-proximity affection, I'd absolutely love showering his face in kisses. 'Cuz, like, he's awesome - flaws and all - so why shouldn't he get to feel the affection of a barrage of kisses??

Ohhhhhhh yes, this is a very good concept, give Mal all the cheesiest shit-- hand-holding, cuddling, showers of kisses, the works, he should have all of it, absolutely!

Follow-Up: Would the wariness on Reader be a turnoff - or is the thrill of the chase and wooing too good? I have no doubt they'd see how amazing he is and fall - but does he have enough patience to get there?

I think he does! Though maybe not patience but... one of his biggest driving motivations in anything is curiosity, and with a first meeting/conversation like that, he’s definitely gonna be curious and want to know that person more!

And a little wariness is hardly anything he’d criticize, that’s totally fair, self-protection is a basic instinct-- all he has to do is show them he’s really nothing to be scared of. He doesn’t bite!

Loved this recent update, Poppy. Bonus is I got to read it next to my bf (he and this sans are similar) - so 3D experience maybe??? Super excited for this dinner date *eyebrow wiggle* - and just honestly generally super excited for Sans in the narrative. (What an awesome phone call reminiscing with Rus ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️!) I am so here for this sibling content - and my absolute adoration for your Mal is never not at the fore.

Hrng, I just wanna be honest and say I am so ready to jump Mal. He is just amazing, and we match up in so many ways. It's just like... sometimes it feels like anywhere I am could take or leave me. But he would at least have a peripheral awareness of me - even if it's just out of paranoia. And I both suck at and HATE lying, and I've learned to be more open with my emotions (thanks to my real bf). Ah man, maybe I'm being a weirdo - but I I feel like I fall more in love the more you talk about him.

Heyo. I'm just having a really rough time of it right now. Summarily, shitty landlord + suspect water + dirty shower/sink after "repairs" + feeling like trash + working hard to just adopt a cat and have a family + absentee mother screwing me over with her usual silent nonchalant ignoring == breaking down alone at home. But I'm telling you this because Mal reminds me a lot of my boyfriend - and honestly, I feel like we'd work so fantastically together that it just makes my night a little better.
