@Regrann from @whispurringwoodsrescue - Star was rescued on valentines day 2015. She was barely alive when someone called me to help her. I was told they threw hot fluids, coffee, on her. It covered a large area, her front legs, face, chest, belly and back feet. She couldn't open her eyes for 10 days or so after rescue. She couldn't stand, barely meowed, but loved being touched. She healed up nicely here, and was adopted with her bff, gabby Abby. They have a btofur, Mikey, he was adopted from here first, a year before. I alone am Whispurring Woods rescue. I have always done it alone, except for a few short months recently. No one really understands the amount of work and time it takes. You can't just decide to walk away when your ideas are challenged, especially when your part was merely computer work. The animals care was and is, totally on me. At least Val has stated true to her commitment to the animals here. She's still giving up her Friday morning and evening to tnr the cats for me. She still helps at petsmart. I am grateful for that.
