the tinny sounds of 8-bit music filled the otherwise silent main room of the league HQ. lately, megitsune had been spending more time here than at home, for it was easier to ignore her confusing thoughts the further away she was from the people she cared about. then again, there were plenty of league members who fit that bill as well. her nose scrunched up, hidden behind the kitsune half-mask she wore. there really was no escape, she supposed maybe this was what they called ‘adulting’, being stressed to the max and having no clear escape in sight.

the girl was currently lying vertically, upside-down on one of the leather couches, her legs propped up in the air and her blood rushing to her skull as she tried to numb her brain with some good old pokemon crystal. 

at the sound of footsteps, the young girl shifted her gaze away from the gaming antique held between her hands, a gameboy. “hiya,” she greeted blandly, without her usual pep, as she registered it was the older super-lady she had briefly met during the league meeting. wisp or something like that. she then returned her focus to her game, ignoring the fact her sitting position was making her feel dizzy. “if you’re looking for sylvie, she’s not here.”
