It is fairly easy to find this man lazing about--
It's not that he's not aware of your presence, but rather, he has allowed his guard down whenever you're around.
He's definitely the type to act more surprised than he actually is, which you can catch onto.
You don't mind, of course, but it does make those rare occasions when you genuinely surprise him that much better.
He's a little cheesy with his over the top reactions whenever he's acting surprised...
But when he is actually surprised? He'll let out a full bellied laugh or a heartfelt chuckle.
He finds it endearing and enjoys it just as much as you do.
Even when he's pretending to be shocked, he still thoroughly enjoys it.
He loves getting attention from you, so~
Shuhei Hisagi
His mind is usually off somewhere else so it's surprisingly quite easy to surprise him with bunny kisses
His eyes will get all wide, cheeks flushing with color before gently pulling you close and kissing your cheek
It's his go to in order to hide his embarrassment, so, just let him.
Plus if it gets a laugh out of you he enjoys doing it more.
Sometimes he'll turn the tables and surprise you with bunny kisses!
It doesn't happen that often, so it's even more shocking when he does it!
But you're both giggling at the end of it.
Tier Halibel
It's a bit hard to give her bunny kisses when she's not in her resurrección form...
Though she does get very embarrassed when you still kiss along her lower face/jaw despite what she looks like
Her eyes get wide and she gently wraps her arms around you
She loves any affection she gets from you and will absolutely return it in any way she can.
Since she can't quite give you bunny kisses, she'll lean in and boop your nose randomly
She enjoys seeing you get shocked by the sudden boops
And if you happen to not be an arrancar? She teases you about how squishy your skin is :p
If you are an arrancar, she'll still make a joke about being squishy even if your skin is as tough as hers.

Oh my god you cannot surprise this woman with anything.
The second the thought to sneak in a bunny kiss arises-- surprise!
She's tackling you and giving YOU the bunny kisses!
She's a very affectionate girlfriend and will absolutely shower you in kisses

Let's be honest, human emotions are very confusing to him.
The first time you lean in suddenly to nuzzle your nose against his?
He's staring at you blankly.
"What is the purpose of that action?"
"It's called a bunny kiss!"
"... Like a rabbit? Why would you-"
"It's just called a bunny kiss because they press their noses together! It's a sign of affection, Ulqui!"
You proceed to explain it fully to him and he learns to accept it.
Like kisses, he eventually learns to like it too.
Gradually he will start to initiate the affectionate touches...
It's a slow and steep learning curve for him, but he is grateful for your patience and understanding.
You don't mind because you love the way his eyes widen just slightly in a bit of confusion.
You think it's adorable. :)

The only times you truly surprise him are:
A. When you're just starting to date...
B. When he's sleeping.
When the two of you are closer, he will pretend to be surprised but...
You know he's just pretending.
You still enjoy jumping up and wrapping your arms around his neck and nuzzling your nose against his.
He does instinctively wrap his arms around you to keep you from falling.
He doesn't understand why exactly you do it, but he'll let you.
He doesn't really initiate it back, but he will poke your cheek to grab your attention.
He will actually complain about you not giving him any attention that day.
He doesn't frame it as wanting a bunny kiss, but you know him well enough to know what he wants >:)
Grimmjow Jeagerjaques
Like a cat, he is extremely aware of his surroundings in most cases.
He doesn't dare risk someone surprising him and attempting to do him harm, so he hardly ever even has a deep sleep.
In the beginning, he would never get surprised by your sudden bunny kisses...
but as time went on and the trust between the two of you grew, he allowed himself to relax more around you.
The very first time he nearly body slammed you into the bed, but luckily for you he restrained himself.
It was instinctive and he apologized sheepishly afterwards, but warned you that it might happen again.
Over time he stopped nearly throwing you off of him and would just grumble into your shoulder afterwards.
You know he likes it, even if he's acting like he doesn't.
You always feel him smiling against you.
