For instance, a quick Google search for the aforementioned Covey shows Douglass’ memoir as largely indivisible from any biography of the slaveholder.

White liberals ~progressives~ are just as guilty of being vile racists as white conservatives. Every time we black and brown people speak up about racism, white liberals will try to dictate how we speak and act in any situation they feel entitled to. When some white man wore a MAGA hat at a vigil for the Christchurch mosque shooting victims, white liberals were quick to tell us that we were overreacting and need to stop attacking him. They assumed the young man had no ill intentions for what he did. White liberals allow racists leniency because they are too comfortable with keeping the white supremacist narrative of white innocence alive and not confront the racism that is happening in front of their faces. It’s not that they are clueless about racism, they are willing perpetrators of it.

Trolling Conservatives on Facebook

I joined a Facebook group that I thought would be about people of color recording their experiences of dealing with white leftists being condescending towards them. Instead, it's just white conservatives & people of color who clearly lived in predominantly white areas for too long getting mad over anti-racism.

Ironically, when I did show how white leftists were being very condescending & banning me from spaces for not having the exact, same views as them (thinking all US Democrats are evil & AOC is not "good"), a lot of the white conservatives in that group jumped on me for being black and leftist lol.

At first, I thought I needed to get into debates and explain myself and my views to them. They never wanted to listen, and they mostly called me names (and worse) and berated me. Then I realized nothing I say will matter to them. they don't want to consider another person's views. They have their mind already made up about leftism (bc of echo chambers) - so might as well troll them back.

I made satirical posts on how children in the Global South & US federal workers making $20-$40 an hour are making life hard for Elon and white people. There were people who actually believed that to be true. When they would come at me with long paragraphs about how I'm "wrong," I would just say they're triggered or reply with the gif of Waka Flocka Flame saying "... Okay..." One thing about conservatives is that they always feel they need to be right when they're wrong and pride themselves in being pragmatic thinkers. When you don't make them feel that, they get angry and start calling you names (or worse). Conservatives tend to think that if berating a leftist or liberal will make them cry and go to their safe spaces (like those tired ass, played out crying liberal memes from 2016), but it honestly made me laugh at their attempts to get under my skin.

Despite me thinking there was no moderation in that group (it was very easy to get in), I was kicked out or mass reported for not agreeing with the white conservatives. I also called a white woman a "Pretendian" after she claimed to be Indigenous and sent me racist memes about black people. I'm banned on FB til March 2nd, I've seen people more egregious than me never get banned.

I learned that white leftists and white conservatives aren't that much different. A lot of them like to think they're not racist, but hate the idea of some person of color disagreeing with them.

It's hilarious when you hear the 2 party shit circus talk about saving "America's Soul"? Read it's true history and then tell me it ever had one or one shred of humanity!. From the early established enslavement by supposedly Good white christians, To the evolution of white privileged serial killing racists and their delusional beleif somehow excuses them from any historic guilt?

Here’s your reminder! You do not need to wear a white hood and lynch black people to be racist and a white supremacy that is just the peak of the iceberg! Check your ideologies and internal beliefs daily and pull racism out by the roots ✊🏽
