How do you clean white ponies? I have some childhood ponies with white bodies that are bit yellowed now and dirty but I'm afraid to clean them because I might remove their eye and symbol paint.
I really wish there were a simple answer to this; but, it depends. Some white ponies you can sun fade. Others, like Gingerbread or Cherry Treats, will turn dark brown if you put them in the sun. Some are okay for peroxide baths, others turn nasty yellow. In general, the safest thing to do for cleanig is use warm water and a mild soap (like Dawn dish detergent). Be extra gentle going over symbols, eyes, and blush. I generally use a soft washcloth when scrubbing ponies.Good luck!
