Sun and Moon ship? Nah. Lunar eclipse x Solar eclipse.
Bloodmoon
@forest-city you asked for this.
Part 1/?? (This will be a comic when finished.)
Felix didn’t know what he’d want when he got in a relationship. He certainly didn’t expect this.
That night, seemed peaceful, he wanted to watch the moon, the trees, the soft lapping of the waves, that was his favorite. While everyone was sleeping, he’d sneak out of his house and walk so he could peacefully enjoy the night air.
Felix thought he was the only one awake that night too. That was until he heard the clacking of hooves and the loud treading of wooden wheels. From what he could hear behind him was an old wooden horse drawn carriage. Then he heard the shouting of a police officer.
Someone messed up..
Felix sighed and stepped out of the road. He watched as the first horse raced by, a wagon attached to its saddle. Atticus was struggling to balance on it, using his crowbar to hold himself. Felix’s gaze hardened, then softened.
Confused, intrigued, he continued watching as the second horse, a police horse, raced after the first.
Sure, he loved the peace, but what’s the harm in a bit of fun? Felix, being the slightly out of mind teenager he was, started chasing the first horse too, obviously not nearly as fast.
Though for a split second, he could catch a glimpse of the stressed blonde on the wagon, just next to him. “Hey!” Felix shouted, Atticus looked at him.
“Ain’t never met an idiot like you before!” Atticus yelled at Felix, warningly, loud over the clacking of hooves and wooden wheels turning against stone.
“I-” Felix started before he tripped, twisting his ankle on the way down. Though, before he could even get close enough to the ground, he felt a cold curved object snatch him by the collar of his shirt.
One second he was on the road, the next he was sitting in the wagon with Atticus.
“Jesus Christ, what kinda idiot starts chasin’ a criminal?” Atticus lectured him, mainly just butt sore from falling on his ass in the wagon considering that crowbar was the only thing keeping him standing stable.
Felix sighed, beating himself up inside as he looked at Atticus. Heavily bruised knuckles, dirty, breathing heavily, dark blue eyes that seemed to replace the lapping waves he originally sneaked out for, a scar that brings mysterious aura to the situation if it weren’t for the personality of the person speaking, one that matched his own. At least, in cause. A violent aura that felt like death. Like a whole murder of crows.
“Woah- uh..”
“What!? NOW you’re speechless? Jesus, kid, never do that again!”
“S-Sorry. Uh, my name’s Felix.”
Atticus sighed, not being able to introduce himself the way he normally would from his position pissed him off. He usually would bow, shake the greeter’s hand, and say ‘The name’s Atticus, pleasure of meetin’ ya’s mine.’
He couldn’t really bow, and he really didn’t wanna shake hands when his were so sore. “The name’s Atticus. I’d say pleasure to meetcha, but it really ain’t.”
“How long do these normally last?” Felix questioned the obvious police chase.
“Normally not long if y’know how ta hide, but it was too dark to see this beauty here,” Atticus pats the horse. “So when I hid in the wagon it really didn’t end well. Not a clue, maybe he’ll give up?” He leaned into the old, softwood wagon, smelling the mixture of sap and rain in the splintering wood.
“Huh.. alright.”
“That’s it?”
“Not really my business why we’re here. I butted in, I’m sorry.”
Atticus sat up on his elbows, staring at Felix with a raised eyebrow. “You’re not gonna try ta defend yaself?”
“I know I’m in the wrong.” Felix sighed.
“Huh..” Atticus was slightly amused, he’s heard so many excuses these past 7 months. “Y’dunno how relievin’ it is hearin’ some accountability.” He stumbled on the word ‘Accountability’.
Atticus leaned back down and breathed deeply, a struggle he hated having. He looked at Felix. Fluffy, curly, black hair, forest green eyes like the leaves of a mistletoe, pale like a dove, freckles splattered all over his face, and a scar over his eye, brings a mysterious feeling. Tall. Atticus couldn’t care less.
“This is gonna be a long night, pretty boy, so take a breath.” Atticus closed his eyes.
Part 2
Felix: *Sigh.* Atticus if you could try to make your eye shape what it was before the resting glare happened?
Atticus:
Atticus: *After 5 minutes.* It hurts
Felix: You haven’t even done it yet-
Atticus: Did it hurt when ya fell!?
Felix: From what? Heaven? Or in love?
Atticus:
Atticus: Lovey..As much as I would LOVE to save your ego..
Atticus: YOU JUST FACE PLANTED DOWN A FLIGHT OF STAIRS!!
The reason Atticus acts out in violence and aggression is because he truly has no idea how to express things like love and kindness. He sees families and friend groups having fun and hugging and he looks at them in distain and envy because he wishes he knew how to hug someone. He can’t comfort people because he’s never experienced it, so he comes up with solutions. That’s why he fell apart at the death of Jay-Jay because he can’t fix that. He’s cold because no one warmed him up. That’s what Felix does. Throughout the story of Bloodmoon, Felix is patient and understands his aggression even when it hurts because Felix knows what it’s like to not have the glue to fix the shards.
Fun fact: Atticus would debatably be dead if Felix wasn’t patient
Something I’d like to point out is Atticus didn’t fall in love with Felix immediately. It took a gesture he thought only girls could receive to be flattered.
