Edér Headcanon #1

Edér took up smoking Whiteleaf after the Saint’s War. He had smoked it a few times with Woden on the farm, but it wasn’t until he sustained heavy injuries (both mental and physical) during the war that he decided to smoke it on a regular basis. As it brings him comfort in a world of torment, Whiteleaf is one of the things he feels he can tangibly control.

Now he keeps the leaf on him wherever he goes, especially through the Deadfire. He smokes to calm his nerves and retain his nonchalant demeanor...or in case the nightmares start creeping back in.
