Benefits of Aquapulse® treated water for Shrimp farming. The experimental results showed that: Ø Aquapulse® showed positive effects on improving water quality through reducing NH3- N, NO2-N concentration, TDS, and pH stabilization. Ø Aquapulse® can maintain water quality forward to stabilize the pH of water in the optimal condition for the growth and survival of shrimp. Ø The NH3-N and NO2-N concentrations in the water significantly reduced when using Aquapulse® in the culture system. Ø Aquapulse® reduced the total dissolved solids and bacterial population (TPC) in the culture water. Ø Feed conversion ratio, feed intake, and survival rate of shrimp significantly improved when using Aquapulse® in the culture system. Ø Aquapulse® significantly reduced the mortality rate of shrimp after being challenged with Vibrio parahaemolyticus. In conclusion, Aquapulse® showed positive effects on improving the culture water quality, growth performance, and particularly survival rate of shrimp after being challenged with V. parahaemolyticus.
