On August 01, 2021 (00:00 EST), join us and your favorite Golden Kamuy guys for the release of the unofficial GK dating simulator!

Explore Otaru and keep an eye out for someone to spend the evening with. Choose your words wisely and you may just talk your way into a hot date. 

...Or not. 

Over the last three years, we’ve poured a lot of love into bringing our favorite Golden Kamuy characters to life in this lighthearted visual novel. 

What started out with a few sketches and throwaway lines turned into a major project that we’re delighted to finally share with the GK fandom. We hope you all enjoy it as much as we have.

Our unofficial GK dating sim, White Otaru Night, is releasing on August 1st!

Otaru certainly has its share of bachelors, but how will you win their hearts? As you walk the snowy streets, you may get a few hints from the locals…

But that doesn’t mean you’ll have it easy! You’ll have to consider your prospective date’s personality as you choose your lines.

Some are eager for a bit of companionship…

While others will play a bit hard to get! 

Whether you’re warming up to Sugimoto or keeping things cool with Ogata, training with Tanigaki or shirking with Shiraishi, each route will give you a new look at your favorite characters.

Drawings to Dating Sim: White Otaru Night Dev Diary

One day in August 2018, an idea was planted in the r/GoldenKamuy Discord Server. A certain member posted their art on the server’s art channel.

Which fueled a fire among the denizens of the r/GoldenKamuy Discord Server

“Can such a task ever be completed?” many fans would ask.

Apparently, yes!

The passionate contributions of the members of the fandom allowed for the completion of the project. It was a winding road to get to this point, with a lot of stops in between.

We’re very pleased to announce that White Otaru Night, an unofficial GK Dating Sim, will finally release tomorrow August 01 EST.
