Last week I noticed my frog, Apollo, was acting strangely lethargic and refusing to move or climb, as well as completely refusing to eat. I took him to the vet today. He had a full diagnostic done and even with the treatment he’s receiving there’s a chance he won’t make it. I can’t in good conscience do less than everything possible to ensure his survival, but financially it will set me back by a lot. In addition to Apollo’s treatment, I also have to get his brother, Artemis, checked for the same condition to make sure he doesn’t have it. The estimated bill for both of these appointments is much more than I can sustainably spend, but I will regardless.
