tumblr is definitely the site for me because it’s very easy (for me anyways) to curate and I haven’t (not to say that it doesn’t happen just not to me yet) been bashed and aggressively bullied for just being weird. Like I literally had my pronouns, he/they/rot/it at the time. In the top corner of a lip sync video I posted on tt and had GROWN ADULTS calling me a disgusting fatherless freak and all kinds of hateful shit but not ONCE have I gotten an even sideways comment on here
Learning that the block button is truly neutral really helped me because right before I got tumblr again I was friend with somebody on insta and we’d been friends for months now, and out of nowhere they dropped some stupid transmed rhetoric and I was like woah! I don’t experience dysphoria, like at all (I do now but there was a long time where I didn’t at all, also I didn’t say this to them) and talking to them after they spewed something very hateful about people like me felt wrong, but I’d been their friend and they’d seemed so nice and they were a trans guy too, so I kept talking to them even though it felt off and never blocked them. I block people for anything and everything at this point, curated internet experience rocks man
sometimes I feel like I’m being very parasocial for no reason I can specifically identify and I think that’s just because it has been a “up on the shelf” word for a while because nobody uses it correctly and I’ve just convinced myself that I can’t be weird about the things I like. Like the wifetoro reblogs and posts and stuff obviously that’s not my wife, we don’t know each other I’ve never even seen him in person. I know that, but I still get upset with myself sometimes. my own brain has been coming for my fucking THROAT lately man. I feel like I’m not allowed in any label like I’m such faker. “Fat” or “plus sized” but like do I really fit? “Disabled” but I mean my knees and hips aren’t super bad and my sugar issues haven’t acted up in forever, do I really count? My periods are better now too, they aren’t crazy irregular and debilitatingly painful anymore. It’s only because of birth control, but still, do I really count? Same with my awful migraines, does it really count if my glasses help? Idk man I’m in the trenches lately.
questioning dollkin lately, which is weird? i'm not sure if i'm just feeling extra weird and not human lately but I specifically feel very "very old dirty creepy porcelain doll at the thrift or a yard sale or etc". saw a particularly lovely little doll at a yard sale over the weekend and she was so very cute, she had a puffy maroon dress and a tiny petticoat and little flats and lots of brown curly hair and a cute hat and the CUTEST little face I've ever seen on a porcelain doll and she looked like she'd so be a haunted doll and also felt very me?? i dunno, kinda confused
practical effects are actual the only thing that can save me at this point. More puppets. More makeup. More “Saw II silicone needles”. More “ Final Destination Bloodlines trash truck”. I need more soul in my media. Please. Please.
why did my dad abandon being such a sick dude to be a trump supporter. I find music okay on my own, but he got me INTO slipknot, korn, and nirvana (past the music that everyone knows from them, no shade to those songs) introduced me to pain, who have some pretty good music, I think futz said Julie is my favorite though. He used to be so cool and now he’s lame (I see it in his eyes when I’m humming or singing a song, he misses it, he longs to go back. I wish he’d come back to it, we lost a super cool punk dude)
