Drawing again and trying out Procreate. Haku from Spirited Away.

Drawing again and trying out Procreate. Haku from Spirited Away.
I don’t know how to draw men, which is one of the promises I’ve made to myself to start and learn. I’m relying heavily on Bruce Timms art style, since his and Tetsuya Nomura’s styles are my two lifelines for drawing.
But I started drawing Jacksepticeye (since he’s been making me laugh for the past 5 years, through depressions and diagnoses, work drama and just 33yearoldlady stuff), in his own merch and since it’s the DC animated universe style, an alter ego super hero look. think he can join the Justice League?
It’s been roughly a year and a half since I last drew something and the three years before that, I created maybe one drawing a year. Moving out the country, moving back, finding a job, quiting a job (rinse and repeat a few times), migraines, working full-time, it stopped me from drawing. It took too long and it never turned out how I wanted it. And then I watched Animator vs Cartoonist from @buzzfeed. And I laughed and enjoyed it so much and it made my fingers itch.
So I started to draw. It’s not what I was used to drawing, combining a lot stuff, the anatomy is wrong and whatnot, but I love it. A Pink Diamond from Stevens Universe. I watched maybe three episodes. I am so sorry.
So thank you Buzzfeed and the artists, I had a blast.
Egyptian goddess Ma’at, for this months Character Design Challenge theme. Took some time, almost didn’t think I could finish again in time, and I forgot how to draw in straight lines, and hands, and feet, and generally everything, but it was great to draw again. :D
Working my ass off to get this finished for the CDC before the deadline, but work and a sick dog have been getting in the way.
Hope I can finish the lines and do a rough colouring tomorrow evening, and complete it on Wednesday.
Still not finished, but actually trying to put some effort in it. No idea what the finished colouring is going to be, and if my initial idea of tackling all hairstyles is still gonna fly. Hopefully the idea of layers in the colouring is going to pan out.
Older drawing, but I was never really satisfied with the colouring of it (I should never try to flesh out characters), so I redid it.
As an ex-employee, I had to draw something EAish at least once in my life. D:
