As some of you know, I rarely check tumblr and when I do I normally just reblog the usual (Doctor Who, Orphan Black, AbandonedPorn, etc) and the occasional spam so here's something different...

I found a bunch of cool paper at the craft store yesterday so I decided to make a little Eleven and TARDIS that can hang out on these interchangeable backgrounds (and a close-up of little!Eleven).

I even found a really cool tweed textured paper for the jacket but it doesn't really show up in these scans.

It's nice to see how many crafty Whovians ther are, if you navigate the "geek craft" tag you'll find whole world of TARDISes, Daleks and Doctors.. lovely!

Light-up TARDIS lapel pin with a color-changing LED!

I've been working on this little project on and off for several weeks, and I'm so happy it's finished! On the surface it's just a TARDIS badge made of wool felt, like others I've made before. But underneath there are LEDs, a battery, and a conductive thread circuit. When the battery holder is snapped shut on the back of the pin, the pin lights up: the lantern on top, the "POLICE public call BOX" sign, and the windows. The windows are lit by an LED that changes color every few seconds (I like to imagine the time rotor is going crazy in there, even if one usually can't see anything through the windows).

This project took a long time mostly because I had to gather a lot of new materials, including ink-jet printable plastic film, very thick felt (I cut up some coasters I found at Target!), and high-quality iron-on transfers- not to mention the LEDs, sewable battery holders, and conductive thread!

So, made this for my The Master Cosplay and it has been a hit at NDK! Thank you, all you wonderful people who appreciate my hard work! I also have been lugging around my blue Dalek Pablo and the Master's Laser Screwdriver. My idea is that the Master stole the TARDIS (of course) but, I'm surprised so far none of The Doctor's at the convention have noticed me. :/ COME ON, WE ARE THE LAST TWO TIMELORDS! LOOK AT ME! LOVE ME!

</3 </3 <--Timelord hearts are broken. Anywho, I made the TARDIS suitcase out of duct tape, fabric paint, acrylic paint, felt, and a stick on battery powered lightbulb. We still have two more days to go so I will let you all know if I finally have an awesome encounter with The Doctor. Until then, ADIEU!

UPDATE- THE DOCTORS' FINALLY NOTICED ME WITH THE TARDIS AND THE GLARES I HAVE BEEN GETTING ARE AMUSING! >:D <3 <3 TIMELORD HEARTS ARE FEELING BETTER NOW. :3

I finished my TARDIS door!

Originally a plain white door painted with acrylic paints and the sign was done with Sharpie. 

Approx. 8 hours.

I had a little photo shoot with my new item this morning. I definitely have to make this clutch a permanent part of my Etsy shop! Too bad I only bought one blue zipper, so I'll have to get more before I can do that, or even make one for myself.
