funny story about me not being able to speak my mother language: i was cooking with my mom and we needed paprika (or is it pepper in english?) and i used the female article and my mom was like no you use the male*
well my standard reaction to that is the language has to obey me not the other way around but then i was like i learned speaking from you mom why don't we at least make the same mistakes
