A wise man once told me that family don't end in blood. I learned that lesson early, and when I met you, I knew that you were family. I used to dream of the life I wanted, before I met you or Will, and it was all white picket fences and apple pies, but it didn't seem real. It was a pipe dream, something for me to lose myself in when I drank too much. I found that life I always dreamed of when I met Will, but it was never complete until I met you. Even if I could hand pick my future, to pick the man that my child would grow up to be, that kid would still be you. I don't care where you came from or how we came together, you are my son. You are my legacy. If you find this, tell Will that I love him. Tell him that I'll be waiting for him.
