The sad truth is that there are no other shows like PLL.

My best friend on trying to come up with a show we could use to fill our PLL until June.

Thirteen personal highlights of 2012 to look back on in 2013. They're all pretty random, but they were the first things that came to my mind (it's also random that there were thirteen of them).

These are copied from my real journal , but since I'll probably lose that within a couple months and because I'm feeling oddly sentimental I'm noting them here too.

Happy New Year.

1) Seeing builtbythewater in New York. (It was like Jan 3, so the year started out great!)

2) My Bacc - It was surprisingly enjoyable to talk about my work with my professors and my friends. And I will never forget joyfulclappinghands' face when Professor Hicks asked for a translation of "jouissance" - of all the things to remember from that day. That and Amy asking about the Dalai Lama on NPR - like I was really listening to NPR at 7 AM the morning of my bacc.

3) Passing my Bacc - Joceyln was so proud.

4) G204 Family

5) Finding out I got accepted into TAPIF at 3 AM with Kathleen and Elizabeth

6) "Finding Nemo" movie night with whoispink, builtbythewater, redwrenwalking, sapientia-stulti, and all the plush friends (it was so worth it to miss graduation booze cruise and it's not like I didn't make up for the drinking later that night).

7) Graduation (even though it seemed a bit underwhelming after my bacc and I don't remember anything that happened that night after I sobbed hysterically about the fact that I would never see Jocelyn again and builtbythewater cut me off...)

8) Working for TIP this summer - I'M NOT YELLING! I'M JUST EXCITED ALL THE TIME. "If you lick it, it becomes yours."

9) Austin, TX. Austin, TX. Austin, TX. (And I suppose I have to include the month following that trip as well.)

10) Moving back to France.

11) Seeing Dominique and Francois (my French host parents) again.

12) London with highlyfunctionalinsomniac and starknjarvis.

13) My French kids fighting over who gets to hold my hand or who gets to sit by me on the bus and just how awesome I am in general.
