#Jesus #Whomshallifear Here, we see David’s Confident Trust in God beautifully written and displayed. Reading this, you would think a guy like David has never been afraid. That’s incorrect however, because if you look at other psalms, like psalm 22, you’ll see moments of great fear. David even cries out that he feels God has abandoned him in psalm 22:1. We all have been scared or afraid of things, whether it was something childish like the boogeyman or more serious such as coronavirus. I want to tell you that that’s ok. It’s perfectly fine for us to be afraid because we are human. Even Jesus Himself sweated buckets before He was to be killed, so He understands the feeling of fear (Mark 14:33). Now, I want to tell you how we can face these fears of ours whenever we come into contact. This is done through Jesus. Through Jesus, we have access to God. Like any good child, if we are scared, we immediately go to our parents for comfort. God wants to be that for us! We can bring our fears, anxieties, concerns before Him and ask for His courage and strength to face these fears head-on. Also ask God to show you His Promises so you have the Word of God to stand on against the devil’s lies. Reading God’s Promises aloud reassures us because if God said XYZ, then He’s going to do XYZ, regardless of the situation or how we might feel! This is a great way to exercise our faith and trust in God. For me, personally, I like to sing scriptures aloud like Psalms, in order to replace my fear with Joy and confidence! Music always helps me to feel better so listen to Christian songs or sing the psalms! Today, start with psalm 27. It’s a beautiful psalm that declares trust in God and why we should trust Him no matter what. I pray that as you read these different Promises, your heart grows braver and your awareness of His Presence becomes stronger. Be blessed & be a BLESSING! https://www.instagram.com/p/CG8OgetjrG_/?igshid=1xpa06tvfrsu
