Don't worry, I won't be making a habit of taking crappy photos on my webcam - this is definitely going to be the last as it is of great importance. As I won't always be able to type stuff down immediately on my laptop/table what have you, I'm planning on using this journal for my first hand draughts before typing them up here. The aim is to fill the journal with as much stuff as I can and not looking back through it until it's filled to the brim. Presented to me by my best friend on my twenty-first birthday to kick-start my writing again...having abandoned it many years ago. This is all going to change this year.A bit cliché I know but as they say, 'New Year, New Me.' Of course, the recent Charlie Hebdo terrorist attack has inspired me even more so to focus on my writing once again. It almost feels like a need to express myself as it sadly seems like freedom of expression is no longer a natural right. I hope to come up with a name for my leather-bound, writing companion (for feck sake, I've already lost the pencil). Now to end another long post - I sincerely promise, they will become shorter!
