It was quick like a raging fire and it was stealthy like a thief in the dark –– coming for her, curling around her. P U L L I N G at her and before she one feather of a though could even cross her mind, she was pulled underwater and she never knew cold water could burn at your lungs so hotly. She screamed but instead of her yells, only bubbles came out. Murky water, her sight darkening when she suddenly felt herself being pulled above by some force –– a much welcomed force. Drenched and drunk dizzy from terror, she scampered away from the edge of the lake, her clothes clinging to her like second skin and her breathe coming in pants. Looking up, she saw a face she’s never seen before. A Ravenclaw. “Uh...Thanks for saving me back there.”
