Every time these Channels interview adult entertainers like exotic dancers, the comments are always like “wow they so articulate and educated I can’t believe it”.

They kind of need charm, communication skills and the ability to read men for their work so why would that shock anybody 🙄

Some key phrases from my whorephobic housemate since I told them I was a stripper;

"You can't have any strippers over though" "You have to keep it completely separate, like none of that work life coming home" (wtf bruh? they're also just fellow women working) "Oh you know that ____ cafe is hiring right? You don't have to keep doing something that's so degrading now" Well yeah but what I'd earn there in a week I earn in one night right now so...? "You aren't really looking after your cat right since you started working. Like she's so skinny now!" (she's 2 for starters, she //always// leaves food in the bowl, and she has a small pudge of a belly. She is the total opposite of skinny I just cannot even) "Oh so like, what's your stripper name?" Why is that relevant in any way when you aren't exactly going to be coming to my work any time soon? Like why do you need that information for any reason at all? (backed down so fucking hard when I said that hahaha) And hes also gone out of his way to try greeting me like so; "Hey stripper how ya been?" to which I just slowly turned around (my mate retold it this way), glared at him with this "bitch I'll kill you" vibe and said slowly "It's _____. I don't call you "Hey Student!" do I? No? Then stop." and thankfully he dropped it, well after trying to get my friend on board after I just turned back around and went back to talking to my friend.
