❝ What is a Pepe again? ❞
“Fresh veggies...I like that smell.”
mishima recognizes goro akechi, of course. anyone who flips on their television out of boredom these days chances to catch a live or pre-recorded interview with the so-called detective prince, though the media seems to be less enamored with the teenager himself than putting him on the spot for previously-made comments, these days. it... wouldn’t feel quite right to say he was sorry for him, because it wasn’t as if he’d ever given him much thought (maintaining the phan-site took up far too much of his time for that), but it didn’t feel right to hate him blindly for his views. people have hated mishima for less, and he doesn’t know any more about akechi’s circumstances than mishima’s own detractors know of his. he steels himself to take the one free seat on the train to the psuedo-celebrity’s left, and attempts to strike up conversation. ❞uh, hey. it’s a nice day, right?❞ ( @whtct ♥ ’ d )
@whtct.
AKIRA TENDS TO EACH pot of flowers, the drone of the underground mall lulling him into robotic complacency, when he catches the words detective prince & akechi-kun. he blinks out of his daze & lifts his eyes toward the storefront, although it’s not as though he’s given a very large field of view, what with how they’re tucked away from the main aisle. he manages to spot a group of young women who appear to be conducting a rapt discussion of the aforementioned teen celebrity, but he doesn’t expect him to actually be there, rounding the corner & into akira’s sight.
his fans perk up as though they mean to pounce & something ( pity? ) triggers an involuntary reaction out of akira; he steps just past the storefront & speaks directly to akechi.
" looking for something in particular? ”
he doubts he’s in the market for a bouquet. still, it’s up to akechi whether or not to take advantage of the lifeline or disregard it. it doesn’t matter to akira either way. hell, maybe akechi would rather talk to a flock of women.

" Ah don't worry Akechi-kun you don't have to leave yet. Sojiro just stepped out to grab some cigarretes is all. "
@whtct “liked for a one liner.”
