WAYHAUGHT WEEK 2 | EVENT DATES & THEME SUGGESTIONS 

Today marks the beginning of the voting and planning period for Wayhaught Week 2. Starting today, September 17th, until September 30th, you can sign up and start casting your votes.

How This Works:

Vote for which dates you wish for the event to occur and keep in mind that prompts will be released 

Suggest a theme you’d like for this year’s celebration - if you have any questions on this, check out the FAQ or send an ask. If you have a list or a long explanation for your theme, you can drop your suggestion in the submission box or in the ask box.

Finally, attached in the end - though not required - is a sign up/interest. Fill it out if you’re interested in participating but you’re not sure yet if you can.

Event Dates

The planning period is structured to have one week per vote/suggestion with the exception of this first week. The schedule as of right now is as follows:

9/17 - 9/30: Interest Survey / Theme Suggestions / Event Date Voting

10/1: Theme Announcement 10/1 - 10/7: Prompt Suggestions

10/8 - 10/14: Prompt Voting

10/14: Prompt Reveal

Themes

To clarify what exactly qualifies as a theme:

While a more general idea such as “random” or “alternate universes” is ideal, it’s really up to you - the fandom. Any theme works, just remember, the prompts will be tailored to the theme, so the more general the theme, the easier it will be to come up with prompts for 7 days. Also, please avoid repeating any themes already used in previous events.

If you are really unsure about the theme you’d like to submit, feel free to add a note after your submission, and I can contact you to discuss it, if need be.

While you are free to submit anything you like, no harmful or offensive suggestions will be accepted. If you are unsure if your suggestion is appropriate, please feel free to ask.

Interest Survey

The interest survey attached at the end is not a binding contract - it’s not necessarily a sign up, but it’s structured like one. There is not commitment to putting your name down and you’re not at all required to fill it out. The survey is to only to see the numbers of those participating in the week and to gauge the appropriate prep time given for everyone to get their works done - meaning, accounting for all different forms of work. 

If you have any questions on why the interest survey is attached or if there is confusion in filling it out, please feel free to send an ask.
