As you may notice there are two filters on the tank. My old one the internal sponge filter with the spray bar decided to die on me as I was acclimatizing my new fish. I had to go back to the petstore to buy a new filter as nothing I did got it working again.
I got everything set up and the new filter positioned and ready to be plugged in. It was as I was taking the old filter out to unplug it that is when it burst back into life. Evil thing waited until I had reached the point of no return having broken all the package seals. So now I have two filters for my tiny 10 gallon tank.
The new one I bought is big enough for the 20 gallon tank I am upgrading to soon. (Note to self stop procrastinating and get that chunk of wood cut) I really like how much better it is at clearing the water. It is a bit louder than the old one though. So for now I am keeping both in the tank. That way I can switch to the quieter sponge filter at night if the new one keeps me up.
