Seriously, if ANYONE were to watch this scene and kept this idea that he's a sadistic lying scumbag or is anything less than a genuine friend, then they are the living definition of HOPELESS.
You’re right. It’s sad to see that people hate him, even though he explicitly said before his “death” the truth about himself... Why would people disregard that... It’s just sad, how hate for some characters can make people blind and ignorant... And they are indeed hopeless if even after that they insult him and call him a gremlin and rat...
