Freebie ask game 🌸: what initially attracted you to TIM? Did you slowly appreciate his character over time? Was it an instant attraction towards the character? Or a specific moment?

So my first play through I did with a Sole Survivor Shepard. And after all of ME1, I went into ME2 hoping to discover we'd get to destroy and dismantle Cerberus.

Needless to say, we all know how *that* went. I cannot overstate how much I really hated his character.

And then the Citadel encounter in ME3.

My Shepard shot him. Not only did I not have the required interactions to persuade him he was indoctrinated, but I didn't think he even deserved to go out on his terms.

And then he did the thing. "There... Earth. I wish you could see it like I do, Shepard. It's so... perfect."

Paradigm shift ahoy.

Somewhere in there, I was also reading fanfics and stumbled on a TIMShep one and kinda recoiled in that "What and why" sort of way. And then morbid curiosity entered. And then I was like, "Wait a minute..." And then I read this series which is my very favorite. It's so everything. I adore it to bits and pieces. It's my comfort reading. The author is one of my favorite people now. ❤️ (We bonded over a comment! People should leave comments on fics they like because you never know when you'll find the person who matches your weird! 🤣)

But he's just so interesting to me now. Like I love to write from his perspective. His head is a fascinating place to live. 😂 So there were a lot of little moments that added up, and then I got interested in actually trying to write for the ship, at which point I really had to dig into his character. His canonical arc is just so sad. It mirrors Shepard's beautifully, even down to how they both had visions of the Reapers. But where he got indoctrinated, Shepard stayed free. And he loved Earth and humanity, genuinely loved it. And that love got twisted by fear and desperation into something terrible and horrifying.

I always think his arc is Shakespearean in its tragedy.

Now I give him happy endings and make him get his head on straight. 😂

But a lot of it comes down to how interested in his head I am.

Wow, just shows how shitty most of the people this season are. Analyse literally hasn't showered in forever, swam in a damn pool, has competed in comps, sucked dick, got fucked and hasn't showered. Her hair looks ratty and oily and stringy and it's nasty asf. And she smells musty?

Then she says "oh it's my body blah blah blah" like she didn't hage sex infront of millions. Yes it's your body but you've been in the house less than a month. A month. And you've already done this. What she actually means: Okay Jack posted a picture of Chase on his instagram wishing him a happy birthday but he hasn’t done this for any of the other egos. This could either mean Chase is secretly Jack’s favorite or something horrible is going to happen. I’m leaning more towards the latter due to the fact that Bro Average 2 is coming and Jack’s comments at Pax about wanting to kill Chase. Then Jack reblogs Fanart a few hours later with his caption: “ His smile all but gone.” This means that something bad is definitely going to happen to Chase and honestly he doesn’t deserve it. Either Anti is going to mess with Chase or the videos goin to have to do with Chase’s Family and Ex-Wife or a mix of both. Honestly all I anted was for him to be happy and see his kids again
