From a conversation with Dr. Thierry Hertoghe, Suzanne asks, “What do you think about the long-term effects of the chemicalization that’s happening to all of us, not only globally, but especially in the United States where the eating habits are beyond poor? What do you think is going to happen to us? TH: I think it’s already happened. When we go to the U.S., from the moment we arrive at the airports, we’re astonished. You have incredible obesity, like nowhere else. The only other place where this is happening with such astonishing rapidity is in the rich Arab countries. This is all the effect of chemicals. Chemicals divert the endocrine system. They lower some hormones and increase others. Many of the chemicals like pesticides have a female hormone structure.” This is just one astounding fact & excerpt from an amazing book that's teaching me so much.
