Yaaaay I finished my emails for today so I can go back to trying to finish my graphic novel pitch!! I’m soooo nearly there, everyone please send me luck and well-wishes so I can maybe maybe finish it today! 🤞

Being terrible at social media actually makes trying to take it seriously much easier bc I’ve made a list of posts I could make and am aiming to do two a week (a post and a video if possible) and I’m genuinely struggling to fit everything I want into only two posts because there are SO many things I have never actually posted 😆

#it also helps that I have three conventions coming up aaaa #so I am trying to share everything new that I’m bringing in advance of them and that’s kind of why I’ve almost got too much to post haha #3 risos I haven’t shared + a comic + some other things I’d quite like to talk about….#as well as posting in advance about each convention separately hahaha #maybe I will start gaining followers from this if I’m luckyyyyy #just accepting that as an illustrator having a following is SO helpful #helps you be found by art directors as well as showing that you can sell your work better #rip #anyway pls follow me on instagram and help me grow #I’ve been on there for like my whole conscious life even longer than on here #and I’ve got about 2k followers which isn’t bad but I think is kind of pathetic for like 15 years of posting 😆😆😆#though Tbf I think it’s a really nice group of people :)#most of them come from in person events etc #so a lot of them are people I’ve met and talked to!!#which is a really nice atmosphere for a social media I think #I just don’t know how many of them actually get shown my posts by the algorithm 🥲🥲#looking at my list again and I have FIVE PROFESSIONALLY PUBLISHED BOOK COVERS #THAT I HAVE NEVER SHARED ON INSTAGRAM #literally nobody knows that I am a professional bc I just simply do not tell anyone ………#that’s not even counting my favourite book cover which is technically a collage rather than an illustration #BUT is about tumblr and I think I did a really good job at capturing 20-teens tumblr-core :)#I’m so sad bc it’s the only book I didn’t actually get a copy of cri #anyway…. ramble over #whydocowstalk

In a starfield moooood….!! I am thinking of revisiting my starfield tarot idea maybe :-) I think it just fits soooo well

#I have tried to think of a dragon age tarot for my rook but it doesn’t line up as well #maybe I need to finish the game to decide for sure #I think the starfield one would have still been clear before finishing but that definitely helped solidify it haha #or at least the visuals of it #I just don’t know if I have the strength to mega dive into outpost building #bc that is my current starfield gameplay…. 😆#maybe I should run off and join the pirates instead 🏴‍☠️⚔️🔫#oooooor I could spend some hours working out supply lines……#choices choices #starfield #whydocowstalk

Tried to take a nice video of me holding my sketchbook for an IG reel but my bf is playing a horror game in the same room so the audio is just AEGHRHRHRRGHHH AAAAAHHH AGHHGGH!!!!!!

Turning on my computer and fighting the urge to immediately open baldurs gate …… truly bewitched by video games

I’ve been struggling for weeeeeeks to figure out how to draw an astronaut for this illustration I want to do and I’ve just realised I could just load up Starfield and use it for reference…. Starfield stays winning !!

I’ve been a bit burnt out for the last few weeks but I read approx. 20 pages of my first Brandon Sanderson book and suddenly I am overcome with an intense need to write WHAT DOES HE PUT IN THESE BOOKS
