r2 (aka sileu/sileuet) is one of the most common entities present in worlds affected by the WORLD2/Integrity Anomaly Cluster. Taking the form of a 2-dimensional, humanoid silhouette which passively shakes, always facing the player. r2 has two main manifestation parameters: stationary or approaching the player's position. Both manifestations are only possible at night time and are often, but not always, indicated by one of a specific set of cave noises (Note: entity manifestation may be tied to moon phases, however further research is required). All r2 manifestations despawn in daylight. On rare occasions, a variant of r2 know as "Him"/"He" can manifest, exhibiting identical behaviour but featuring a significantly brighter static-esque texture within the same silhouette.
r2's stationary manifestation will remain passive unless approached, which will either result in the entity disappearing in, striking the player with lightning and displaying "CAN'T YOU SEE?" Repeated over the player's screen/vision alongside a distorted sound effect, or the entity becoming aggressive. The mobile manifestation will, from my experience, always become aggressive when it reaches a certain distance from the player. Upon becoming aggressive, r2 will lock the player's perspective to face itself, preventing a quick escape, while playing a loud distorted sound and rapidly approaching the player while changing the time from day to night at regular intervals and destroying most if not all blocks in between r2 and the player (it is unknown the complete list of blocks r2 can destroy). If r2 comes into contact with the player, the player is instantly killed, with the death message "[username] was slain by r2".
While this entity poses no real threat to players, Assimilated players will experience significant pain during the aggressive phase particularly in the ears and brain, and as a result of the connection with the player model, will experience the sensory equivalent of death by electrocution before respawning.
It is recommended to reach high ground (such as pillaring up if possible) as this will often prevent r2 from reaching the player. The most effective means of dealing with r2 is avoidance, with watchtower bases accessed by ladders or secure staircases being a preferable shelter. External research has revealed r2 may be susceptible to attacks from iron golems and certain modded damage sources, such as spike traps, though it is possible r2 is now capable of countering iron golems.
It is ultimately unknown how intelligent or sentient r2 is, however the message "CAN'T YOU SEE?" suggests a level of intelligence. Given the nature of the Integrity Anomaly Cluster, it is entirely possible, however unproven, that r2 is in fact a digital spirit (Unidentified SP-X). Following this hypothetical, it is possible r2 represents a fragment of xXram2dieXx (aka 0nullvoid0), who is otherwise fragmented between Null (SP-X), xXram2dieXx (SP-B), and a possible third digital spirit know as Void (SP-I) (see chat response to "void"), with r2 being a derivative of "ram2" from "xXram2dieXx". This is, however, purely speculation.
