Why it Works Wednesday: Wear It Backwards . Yes, I know I have my shirt on backwards. No, I did not get dressed in the dark. . Thrifting last week, I came across this vintage print top that was obviously too big for me but I couldn’t pass up the fun floral print. So, I flipped it around, and made it a mod tunic instead of a boring button-down. . Hope your Wednesday was just as wonderfully backwards as mine! . Why It Works Wednesday: The Statement Sleeve The statement sleeve is here to stay! I can't explain how excited I am about this 2017 trend! Considering the current condition of my waistline (which is under construction), my forever thin forearms and consistently shapely shoulders are thrilled to carry this style out in the hopes that it become steadfast. My bell-sleeve sweater was a holiday hit, paired with cropped pants or jeans, it is comfortable yet current. This past Saturday night was soggy, but my statement sleeves were ruffled and ready for the rain. And, of course, let's not shrug off those cold-shoulder tops. Sure, I've seen a few versions of this silhouette that aren't stellar (colder shoulders at the gym, really?!?) but don't count them out in yet in this new year. This look is fun, flirty, and figure friendly. Dress for your body but don't settle on style. Make a statement, even if it's only on your sleeve.
