15. What's a piece of advice you find yourself giving a lot?
Probably "everyone is weird in their own way, and that's good and okay actually". That's the most versatile anyway. Categorically, I most often find myself in the position of giving baking advice, which I guess isn't that surprising but given how many people in my life also bake it's a bit odd
16. What's a piece of advice you would give to yourself five years ago?
Probably like...remember you can teach language with a stick and the ground and you know what you're doing. More an affirmation than advice. I feel like I spent a lot of time in the first year of my old job worried I wasn't doing things right, and I could have used the reminder that as long as the kids are learning (and you can see, measurably, that they are) then you're fine. Really.
