I feel like Circe makes friends easily. I mean, she is literally an ethically challenged surgeon that still has a job at the clinic, she probably made sure that everyone there loves and adores her (they can't be that desperate, right?). Olive. And that is a death sentence if you're not careful.

I wouldn't give her any animal I care about. Maybe a very posh cat that's more of an object of prestige than a pet. I feel like she likes snakes a lot, too.

"General Grunt", a voice said from the other end of the line. Buzz felt his heart rate speed up, even though he was sure the line was secure: no one would hear them talk. His heart still beat too fast.

"The blueprints are ready, and the tests I run gave positive results. The bomb is ready."

The general swallowed. "I see. I'll send one of my engineers your way and-"

"No," the abrupt reply cut him off, "I'll meet with you and only you. The fewer witnesses, the better... and I want you to be accountable if anything were to go wrong."

Buzz smiled. "I'm usually the one giving orders."

"Well, get used to complying if you wanna keep doing business with me," Loki Beaker replied, with a dry voice.

"Let's meet at the Crater, 1800 sharp. Bring the rest of the money."

The general felt his heartbeat speed up again, but his voice was still calm. "I'll be there."

"You better be," Loki shot back. There was a moment of silence, then he added: "I'll wear your favorite cologne".

The line went dead as the scientist hung up, leaving no room for reply.
